Powers:

Sailor Mars: In canon, when Rei transforms into Sailor Mars, not even her own grandfather recognizes her. It's hinted that there is some sort of powerful protection on all of the Sailor Senshi that keeps their identities secret (They don't always seem to recognize one another either), so when Rei transforms please be mindful that your character should not be able to tell it's Rei. Characters who have ways of sensing life-signs (like a Jedi Knight) or other weird powers like that please talk to me. Basically, if you feel your character should be able to tell, then we should talk.

Psychic/Spiritual Abilities: Rei has a wide variety of spiritual and psychic powers unrelated to being a sailor suited heroine. These include ESP and a Psychic Empathy, the ability to read visions in flames, the ability to sense evil, and the ability to use o-fuda scrolls to bind evil spirits. She's also capable of exorcisms, sensing possession, and of channeling nearby spirits to do her bidding (Which generally means going away). Rei's spiritual powers are amplified massively by being transformed into Sailor Mars, as well, so keep that in mind. In this instance, the powers are more or less divine in origin.

Basically, this is where you'd tell me about what you are and are not okay with. Is your character tainted and evil? Is your character possessed by the spirit of a long dead pharoah? Are you okay with Rei picking up on your characters emotional state? This means surface emotions like anger or fear, etc, not actual mindreading. (I sense much fear in you, Padawan kinda thing). Or heck, are you a GHOST? Do you want to work with a magical girl ghostbuster? Tell me here!

Fortune Telling and Visions: Rei is a fortune teller in canon. This means she may offer to read your character's fortune. There are a lot of ways to do this, and we can talk them out if your character agrees, but if you do? Then she should be able to tell them a fairly accurate prediction about their future. Whether that's at home or in game is up to you, but if you'd like to do something with that, let me know!

As far as psychic abilities go, Rei would probably pick up that Leo is not a very good soul. He's killed a lot of people, pretty much one a week for the past twelve years, not including the times he's given into his monster form and gone on killing sprees. If she can at all sense if someone is human or not, she'll pick up on the fact he's a monster even if he looks human.

With surface emotions, Leo's are kind of alien. The books describe Sunai monsters losing parts of what connects them to humanity every time they lose control and turn into their monster forms and Leo has done this a lot in his life. So there's a definite disconnect in how he feels about people. Caring doesn't come naturally to him, he has to put forth effort to actually stay in touch with emotions beyond things like hunger and anger. Also, he's almost always in some state of being hungry, kind of like how they say sharks are never truly full.

Rei can pick up on all the things with Lance :3 full permission granted. Also, he's a good boy, not tainted at all or possessed. As for what he'll feel like specifically, feel free to have her pick up on everything I write in smalltext/prose in tags, I tend to write that stuff out rather clearly as much as possible anyway. I mean let's be real Akechi's soul is soaked in pitch and blood he's not a nice or good person even remotely. So. Sense away, he is spiritually repugnant and a huge liar. (I'll give you more detail in my tags ahh.) Although I'd make the case that he's not evil and won't feel that way. Tainted, though, big time.

I agree that he isn't evil so much as tainted by death, which as you know isn't the same thing, and his Persona being Loki probably doesn't help.

For Diarmuid (

thenovice), she is more than welcome to sense he's a pretty pure soul! He's 100% normal human but there's definitely an aura of goodness about him, like a pious figure in a church that is actually legit pious and well-meaning, lmfao. I don't mind if she's able to read his emotional state, either! Though he's often very on-the-sleeve about everything, so that helps.

For Peter Parker (

quipsandthwips) she'll likewise find a good soul! Not quite 'pure' but well-meaning and noble, in a sense. But also heavily strained/burdened. He's full of self-doubt, misery, grief, etc. and usually tries to hide it with jokes and light-hearted banter. When he's Spider-Man that doesn't necessarily go away — if possible, I wouldn't mind her noticing his soul is similar to Peter Parker's, but not necessarily something she can immediately pinpoint? Like she can't quite get a bead on it off the bat, but can piece it together over time? If that makes sense? I'm fine with her getting a read on his emotional state, in or out of the costume.

For Laura (

shoplifter), she's not tainted I think, but her spiritual energy is definitely 'fractured', and she has some darkness in her from her terrible upbringing. She's trying her best to be good but her days of being innocent and not corrupted by terrible circumstance is kind of long behind her. Or never existed to begin with. Yikes. She's totally open to being read for emotions! She wears hers very well.

Working with Spidey and Peter having slightly different feelings is no problem at all. Superhero Identities are a big enough deal that it's almost like wearing a different persona anyway, and I'd rather them get to have the opportunity to reveal themselves to one another (perhaps in a comical way)

The 10th Doctor

borntolove his soul is - complicated. So, basically, The Doctor can regenerate many times. Where each face of The Doctor has a different personality; the core of the character is the same. As we find this out with post-regeneration amnesia as each face tries to figure out their personality. The core;

"There's echoes of who I was and sort of a call towards who I am.... If there's one thing I'm certain of, when people need help, I never refuse."

As wells as someone's soul being described generally as; "I've seen him. He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever... He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe... And... He's wonderful"

This particular face of The Doctor flexes between being super cuddly like a puppy that just wants to lick your face and allowing you to die because the creature didn't take their chance to change or did take the change to change and then double-crossed - no second chances.

And old, so very, very old

Yes! I've played Rei off of several Doctors in the past, so it's not something too difficult to work with. The Sailor Senshi themselves are reincarnations, so she'll probably get a similar feeling to that, and kind of extrapolate from there.

But man he is such an old guy...
